Peter Lyon Shearing is based in Alexandra, right in the heart of Central Otago, a short drive from tourist mecca's Queenstown and Wanaka, New Zealand.

The company services wool growing clients in southland, Otago, South Canterbury and Marlborough. 

The business has been operating since 1985.

For our staff we have accommodation available and also provide meals and transport to work. 

While specialising in the harvesting in merino sheep we also shear a cross section of 1/2 bred and cross bred sheep to provide us our all year round work.

Our clients are spread from the east to west which helps capture geographical and climatic differences this also helps extend our season.
